During the Sprints Scrumboard provides a easy to use Task Board to track the status of various tasks and activities that the teams are working on. Currently in the Scrum Template the Task Board is a Drag and Drop enabled board that allows the team to realistically move tasks on the board as they would on a physical board.

Team members can add tasks, impediments and other user stories into the sprint easily on the Task Board. The Task Board is accessible to every one within the organization just like the physical task board would be, so stakeholders in the projects can review the progress just as easily as if they were walking over to the team's physical task board.

A unique feature of the ScrumBoard is that the team can look at the task board for any given day of the sprint. This enables the team to actually review the status of the task board on any day during the sprint and use that for discussion during the Sprint Retrospective and other discussions.

For example: If a particular user stories was brought into the sprint in the middle of the sprint, that status of the task board would be reatined to later show/discuss that a user story was added during the sprint or an impediment was added on a particular day of the sprint.

This temporal status of the Task Board is a unique feature that allows the teams to introspect on how the sprint progressed and add inputs for discussion during the Sprint Retrospective.
