DATA IMPORT

ScrumBoard has a easy to use DataImport section that allows you to quickly and effectively import data related to UserStories, Tasks and other information not only for the future sprints, but also for past sprints. This ensures that if your team has been maintaining excel sheets for the scrum artifacts, you do not have to lose them when you move to ScrumBoard.

UserStories can be imported into the tool with detailed information about

  • Which release and sprint it was planned for,

  • Priority of the UserStory as defined by the ProductOwner

  • Estimate of the UserStory in story points (as estimated by the team)

  • Status of the UserStory

    and other information.

    During each sprints your team would have been maintaining a SprintBackLog with the list of UserStories planned for the sprint and the list of Tasks identified to be completed for the sprint with the relevant team member assigned to pickup the task.

    Teams also capture the amount of time remaining on each task during the DailyStandupMeeting to draw the SprintBurnDown chart. ScrumBoard accepts one of the most popular Sprint Back log excel sheet format, so that all the information related to tasks that was captured in your excel sheet for past sprints can be imported automatically into the tool.
