What is ScrumBoard ?

ScrumBoard is an online project management tool for agile methods like Scrum, Kanban, etc., This product is available as a SAAS service for organizations to enable teams to use Kanban principles like Visible Charts, and other planning and tracking tools commonly used by scrum teams over the Internet for distributed development. The product beta release has the scrum template that allows teams using Scrum to quickly get started with minimal effort to move from an XLS or paper and pen tools to a distributed project management tool.

ScrumBoard has all the basic features required for scrum teams like ability to ManageProducts, ManageProductBackLog, Adding and Managing UserStories, A Visual TaskBoard for daily Stand-up Meetings and Task Updates.  It provides the standard InformationRadiators like SprintBurndown, ReleaseBurndown, and Velocity Graph.  Unlike many other products which stop here, ScrumBoard also has an effective mechanism for SprintReview information and SprintRetrospective information to be captured.

ScrumBoard is a mature tool that has been used for multiple projects and teams before and allows teams to get online with their project management as easily and naturally as possible. The tool tries hard to ensure that the team does not have to change the way they work because of the tool and allows the teams to customize the tool to suit their needs rather than vice versa.  We strongly believe in " Eating one's own dog food " and use the product extensively within our own development effort and with the customers of our services wing.
